ISRO quiz for school students: Important details you should know
વિષય: દેશની સ્વતંત્રતાના ૭૫ વર્ષ નિમિનની ઉજવણીના ભાગરૂપે
ઈસરો દ્વારા ઓનલાઈન ક્વિઝ સ્પર્ધાના આયોજન બાબત.

ઉપરોક્ત વિષય અને સંદર્ભદર્શિત પત્ર અન્વયે જણાવવાનું કે, ભારત સરકાર ના સંસ્કૃતિ મંત્રાલય દ્વારા
આઝાદી કા અમૃત મહોત્સવ” શિર્ષક હેઠળ દેશની સ્વતંત્રતાના ૭૫ વર્ષની ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી રહેલ છે.
જે અંતર્ગત અંતરિક્ષ વિભાગ, ભારત સરકાર દ્વારા પણ વિવિધ પ્રવૃત્તિઓનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવેલ છે. જે
અન્વયે વર્ચ્યુઅલ માધ્યમથી ઈન્ટરનેટ દ્વારા ધોરણ ૭, ૮ અને ૯ માં અભ્યાસ કરતા શાળાના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે
(અંગ્રેજી તથા હિન્દી ભાષામાં) તા.૧૦/૦૮/૨૦2૧ ના રોજ ઓનલાઈન ક્વિઝ સ્પર્ધાનું આયોજન કરવામાં
આવેલ છે. જેના મુખ્ય વિષય તરીકે સ્વાતંત્ર્ય ચળવળ, વારસો, બંધારણ, અંતરિક્ષ વિજ્ઞાન અને ટેક્નોલોજી,
સાંપ્રત પ્રવાહો, રમત-ગમત અને અન્ય વિવિધ ક્ષેત્રનો સમાવેશ કરેલ છે. સ્પર્ધામાં ભાગ લેવા માટે
તા.પ/c/૨૦૨૧ સુધી રજીસ્ટ્રેશન કરી શકાશે

You may be awarc that Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, is celebrating 75th
Anniversary of India's Independence under the title "Azadi Ka Mahotsav". Department
of Space (DOS), Govt of India, has also planned various activities to commemorate
75th Anniversary of lIndia's Independence. One of the activities is to conduct on-line
Quiz competition for the school students virtually through internet on 10th August,2021
The online quiz is organised for the Schools of Gujarat state (7th, 8th and 9h std). It will
be bi-lingual (Hindi and English). The core subjects of the quiz pertain to freedom
movement, heritage, constitution, space science & technology, current affairs, sports
and similar other relevant field/category

To increase awareness about its space programmes, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is conducting an online quiz for school students and the top scorers will get to watch the Chandrayaan-2 landing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the agency’sThe Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry has written to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as well as states to encourage students to participate in the quiz.

Chandrayaan-2, a three-module spacecraft comprising an orbiter, lander and rover, which was launched on July 22, will land on the moon on September 7.
“To increase awareness about the space programme, an online quiz is being conducted by ISRO in coordination with mygov.com. Two top scoring students of classes 8 to 10 from each state and Union territory will be invited to ISRO’s Bengaluru centre to watch the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the moon live along with the prime minister,” a senior HRD official said.
