Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) February - 2014
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) has been flooded with registrations, numbering more than 1.8 lakh this year. Around 80, 000 candidates had appeared for the first edition of the test held during the month of September, whereas one lakh candidates flowed in during the second edition held during February.
CMAT February exam was held between February 20 to 24. The exam held in 32 cities across the nation was conducted in two separate slots, the first slot from 9:30 am to 12: 30 pm and the second slot from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The results for the same will be announced tomorrow.
The CMAT scores are used by various Indian states to offer admissions for Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programmes under the government quota. Also, many private universities grant admissions to the students on the basis of CMAT score, rather than the individual state-conducted Post-Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET).
